Oh yes, you see the SMILE on my hubbys face!!! Well This is Justin (My cousins) Elk.. (should of been ours...) BUT! They both shot at it, hunted it down, tracked it for HOURS!!!! 6 total. And gutted it, brought it home and go it scored. This Elk is HUMUNGOUS!!!! I dont know how 4 grown guys lifted this massive thing into the back of the truck. Brent said him and Justin both saw it so Brent takes the first shot, fogs his glasses so Justin takes a shot.. the Elk is running. They start tracking it.. and Brent and Justin decide whoever actually hits the KILL shot gets him. Well after about 10 shots with each gun man (Brent and Justin) They decided Justin killed it :(!!! I was pretty excted for Justin, He is family and its his first Elk.. But, seriously.. I would of LOVED LOVED LOVED to brag about my hubby hitting the kill shot!!! Anyway, Brent is pretty happy about it. And the picture proves it.. Although we didnt get the Elk, Brent had a huge part in killing him down too. Im hoping maybe we can get half the meat ;)! Brent has till the 20th to still get one.. so, CROSS ER FINGERS!!!!! Congrats Justin!!!! We are excited for ya!!!!
