Thankful 23!

Today.. I am thankful for VACUUMS!!! 

Without my vacuum I wouldnt be able to clean up the spilled chips and crumbs all over my floor, from Rydge.. or the dirt my hubby tracks in from his boots, or the ashes/wood stuff that comes in when we start fires.. over all boogie messes!!!! My Vac saves my little house!!! :)!!! I swear I use it on a daily basis!!!!

Thankful 21 & 22

Thankful for...

#21..I am thankful for nice long relaxing hot bubble baths!!! Every PERSON needs at least one hot bath a week!!! :)!!! It's good for the soul!!! haha...

#22..That Rydge is finally sleeping through the night!!! It is the best ever!!! It was hard to get him to this point, but with alot of no sleep, me sitting by Rydgeys door making myself not go in to check on him all the time I think we have it!!! Hell now go to sleep about 7.. something a lttle earlier.. a little later, and sleep till 630ish...sometimes hell sleep longer! But, for the most part! I am getting a semi full nights sleep (I still check on him a couple times through the night.) But, we both are rested, and feel so much better the next day!! YAY FOR SLEEP!!!

..A Little side note! This is Rydgeys latest thing...

WTH??? haha.. Oh its such a joy to go places!! Actually to be honest, he has gotten TONS better!! He doesnt scream the entire time we are in the car!!! Which is so nice, not sure if its because he can sit forward and see everything? But, I love it!

This is just a few that Brent and I picked out together that was our favorites!!!! There are so many more.. How do you choose which ones to put on the wall, and give away for gifts for the family!!! So I had to switch it up.. everyone gets different ones!!! Rydgey did so good, it was so cold.. but he was a trooper through the pictures!!! They are so dang cute!

Twinkies

...This Little boy LOVES his Twinkies...

He loves all desserts, but Twinkies are his fav! And of course his Grandpa Cannon spoils him to no end with Twinkies. Rydge will go right for my Gpa's pocket and always find one. The other day my Grandpa came up and had a twinkie in each pocket (of course we saved one for later) and he pushed a book over to my Gpa and Rydge wanted to eat his Twinkie and listen to his story!! I love little things that like, He loves when Granmpa reads to him!!! So cute!!!

Thankful #20..Twinkies!!! Just because my little boy so looks so cute digging into them!! lol...

Thankful 18 & 19

Thankful for....

#18..The small simple things that my family and friends do for me! Rydge will randomly come up to me and give the biggest kiss and hug, I Love when Rydge figures out how to do something hell look at me with those big blue eyes with a huge smile! It totally makes my day. I would even miss the times he gets frustrated and starts to get a little onry because whatever he is doing isnt working out for him.
Brent randomly sending me I love you texts during the day, Getting me a pepsi on his way home from a long day of work.. A kiss before he leaves for work!
Friends and family calling just to see how Ive been.Or stopping by to visit! These are the things that matter most to me!!!

#19.. The Hallmark channel! lol... I LOVE the Christmas movies they are starting to play!!!! Brent doesnt so much.. BUT! He still sits and watches them with me. ;)!!!

Thankful # 17

Wow.. I am all caught up!!!!

#17..I am Thankful for my health, I am glad that I have the health that I do ( I am not the healthiest person ever..But..) I have great eye sight, I am strong..sorta..I am able to keep up with my little boy!! I am lucky to be able to do the things I love, dance, sports, walk, run..when someone is chasing me.. ;)! So therefore, I am Thankful for the health, and well being that I am in today!

15 & 16

Thankful...

#15..So thankful that I have a yard, with a porch and a swing! I love my yard!!! I love how I get to go outside and watch Rydge play on the lawn, and roam around on the grass. Yes, its hard work! But.. Its so worth it!!!!

#16..My stove! Ever since I was little, my grandparents had a stove in their house, and I have always wanted one, well the bonus of living in Etown, is most of the house have them in it! The house we are renting now, has the biggest stove ever (it so heats you out! Sometimes, brent and I get overlly fired up and have to open windows and doors ;)! haha..) But, I love getting wood, and cant wait to light up the fire place for the first time of the year!!!!

First 14!

I am THANKFUL for...

#1...I am thankful that brent has his job! And brings money home to keep a roof over us, a warm place to be, food on the table, Everything!!! Money may be tight, but he makes enough for me to be able to stay home with Rydge, and he works so hard!! And I hope he knows how much I appreciate his hard work, and even though I am not the best "House Wife" I do try!!! 

#2..Rydge! I am SOO thankful for my little boy!! He is the light of Brent and I's Life, He puts a smile on my face, and I am so lucky to have him in my life. Brent and I were SO blessed with Rydge. I know for some people it is hard to get pregnant, have kids, and I know how much I treasure Rydge, and wish the same feeling to every other girl who wants to be a mom. 

#3.. Of course Thankful for my hubby (sorta goes with 1). But, I am so glad to be married to my best friend, someone to talk to about anything, helps me make choices and stands by my side no matter what!!! He is goofy, and loving, and such a good dad! I love you!

#4..My car, I am glad that I can get place to place without having to walk everywhere! Or scheduling rides with people to town! I can just get in the car and go! And I am happy that my heater works!! (can you imagine me walking around in this SNOW and COLD with Rydge :(...NO!) I am lucky to have a nice car that works, and I dont have any problems with it! And.. shall be paid off COMPLETELY by the middle of next year! WAHOO!!!!

#5..Grandparents. I say this ALL the time! They are amazing, and more like my parents than actual grandparents. They help me whenever I need them! They are always there, They are the ONE stable thing in my life growing up.. and I Would LOVE to follow there Example and be the great people they are to each other, there family and friends. 

#6.. Friends! I love my friends so much, and am lucky and thankful to have each of them in my life..Whether is me seeing them ALL the time, to maybe those who I only see once a month or so.. They each teach me something new everyday, and have been great examples for me.. have listened to my problems, worries, and have always lent me there shoulder to cry on! They are amazing! 

#7.. Family. My sisters, parents, grandparents, step parents, cousins, in laws, out laws, whatever!!!! I LOVE all my family! Now, where brent and I come from 2 divorced parents who are remarried (except my side) and have tons of family members themselves.. we have a heck of alot of family, sometimes it can be frustrating, crazy, drama, but we are So lucky to have the family we do, and we know at the end of the day we all love and respect each other!!! and we wouldnt trade it for the world!!! (maybe just move out of the state...;)..Kidding!) 

#8..Thankful for Wood, Tools, Paint ect.. without any of these items I could not do my crafts! Which I would be very sad.. I love to put my creativity to the test and make fun crafts!!! (Ok, my friends and I just look up ideas, and cork them into our own.. but we never come up with the ideas on our own.)

#9..Technology! I am glad that we have phones to talk to our loved ones on a daily basis, internet to email family and friends, printers, cameras! TV!! ...although I get flustered sometimes I am still thankful for it!

#10..Koda and Mo.. My Doggies!!! I am Thankful for there companionship, and the love they give me and the family!! haha..and they still love me when I forget to fill there food dish. 

#11..THankful so much for the Veterans and Army that they put their lives on the line everyday to let us have the freedom that we have! They go without seeing there familes for months at a time, and living it day by day, it cant be easy! And I appreciate them so much! 

#12..Dessert!! I am SO thankful for the yummyness that we can make or buy to give into our sweet tooth's! Cheese cakes, pumpkin EVERYTHING, candy, pies... Oh yummy!

#13..Music. My life would be so bored with out music! Rydge and I wouldnt be able to dance anymore!! (He loves to dance!) And we wouldnt be able to feel silly dancing around the house... ANd right now, im thankful for the christmas music and the feeling it brings me.. the christmas spirit!!!

#14..Food!! I love food, and with out we would starve to death. I love that we can make whatever we want, and are able to go to the store and get the items we need to complete the meal! We are quite spoiled!

..Sorry to be a little slow!! But, thought Id give the first 14 that I have procrastinated posting.. and hopefully I will stay with it each day from here on out.. ha! Thats a MAYBE!

Arizona.

 A visit to GRANDMA CORTNEYS!

Well this weekend Rydge and I loaded up the car, and drove 8 hours to Peoria, AZ to meet up with my mom, Mary and little sister Alivia to see my "Grandma far away" as I always called her growing up. But, its my Grandma Cortney! 

We got there Thursday evening, and thanks to Twilight on Audio (CD), me trying to occupy Rydge, and pay attention to directions the drive went by pretty fast. It wasnt as bad of a drive as I thought it would be!

So not used to looking at Cacti my whole drive!

Friday morning we got up, and went to see my Grandma! When we walked through the door, she was SO excited!!!! Her exact words were "this is hard on the heart." she had NO idea we were coming!!! She has Alzheimer's, and she doesn't have any short memory. So when we were visiting with her, she would always ask us the same questions! BUT! She looks great, and seems to be doing well..

My Grandma Far Away..(Grandma Cortney)

While we were there helping my Grandma with Groceries, Laundry and such my sister and mom wanted to throw Rydge an "Un birthday party" since they werent going to be here for his actual birthday!!! IT was the cutest thing every!!! Alivia was SOO excited, and had it all planned! They brought hats, plates, a little cake, table cloth, PRESENTS! Oh this little boy is so spoiled!!! 

Funny story, as we were all singing happy birthday to him, he reached for the cake, and the candle was lit! We all JUMPED and yelled NO! Alivia grabbed his hand out of the way.. and I think we ALL scared the day lights out of him, he started crying :(.. it was so sad. We didnt want him to burn his finger. But, Alivia feed him cake and he was happy after that!!! He Got so spoiled too, Snow clothes :), toys and more toys!

We also went and fed the ducks. I remember when I was younger my parents took me and Alisha to fee the ducks, and I asked my mom about it, so we decided to drive down and see if they still had ducks! They did.. a little bit. There were signs everywhere saying NO FEEDING DUCKS! So, we had to keep it on the DL and we only fed them a little bit. Rydge caught on fast.. he would throw a piece of bread to the ducks, then he thought he needed a piece so he would eat a piece, then throw another one to the ducks! It was so cute!!!

It was a fun trip.. and ended to fast! It was great to see my mom, and sister.. and grandma!!!

 My Grandparents came up, and spent the evening with us, then we went trick or treating and had a blast showing our little skunk off to the family and friends! We started out pretty good, until we hit Grandparents Farnsworth house, and they werent home :(, so we went to a few friends after that and they werent home.. So we decided to head for home! We didnt get as many trick or treaters this year as we did last year.. but it was still fun!!! And i LOVED taking Rydgey out. Brent and I loved it!
