Baby Registry

Cant believe its ALREADY that time to register for the shower!!! (which isnt till the end of Oct. but I figured Id be a few steps ahead.) anyway Im really not sure what to put on there for people??? Ive got a few major things that I need.. Everything bath stuff, diapers, wipes, bouncie, swing, and a few other odds and ends that I just figured I needed.. Anyone have any ideas?? or thoughts of what I should put on there so if people do look at the registry they have some what of an idea???

I have to say I am very excited that I sewed this myself. I have made a couple baby blankets, but this was a little different. I went off of a friends cover that she made, and I just went for it! There are lots of OOPSIES with it, but you cant tell unless you stair at it and really critique it!!! But, anyway, YAY my first sewing thing I made for our little baby!!! Ha!!!

Baby Brutis!

BRUTIS BRACKEN... BRUT for ShoRt!!!!

Our Little boy has recieved the nickname Brutis :)!!! Thanks to his wonderful Parents!!!! When I was in Kansas I saw a sign that said STOP and visit Brutis the Bull, So as a joke I texted Brent and told him I had the PERECT name for our little boy, and solve our problems of coming up with a GREAT name!!! I told him Brutis! He laughed his BUTT off and said NO! Well, Ever since then when people ask us what were naming him, we tell them BRUTIS! (The expressions on their faces are pricless!!!) and TRUST ME... We have gotten alot of crap for it, the crazy thing is people believe us!!.. REallY we lOvE him to much to really name him Brutis.. But, since we joke around with it all the time, I think he has aquired the nick name :P!!!!

I will be 29 weeks tomorrow and entering my 3rd trimester :)!!! He is the size of a butternut squash and a tad over 15 inches long from head to toe!!!!!

Cant believe how fast it has gone for us. Brent and I cant believe Dec is just around the corner!!! :)!!! And we feel so NOT prepared. But, well get there. Brutis loves to have his foot right up into my rib! UH.. OUWY!!! and he moves more and more, and the bigger he gets the more uncomfortable I get!!!!! Im getting used to sleepless nights, although I cant complain to much because I love feeling him move around..altho it freaks me out a little since his movements are BIGGER now, My belly button is starting to STRETCH. Wow!! Weird. HaHa! I feel his head move alot, since it feels like he is so low in my pelvic bone that I cringe everytime he turns his head!

Even though its going by so fast, we are enjoy the time Brent and I have together before our little Brutis comes!!!

Brent bought a new "Whoopty"!!!(Thats what I call it)! It is a ghetto ford bronco! But, I have to say I really like it. We have been tootling in this thing EVERYWHERE!!! So, here is our new tOy :)!!

Next Our stroller arrived a while ago!!! BUT, putting this thing together I about died LAUGHIN' Once we got it all together we tried putting it down.. ya, that didnt work out very well... I looked at Brent and said wow what great parents were gonna be. haha!!! It was parent proofed!! HaHa!! But, we figured it out after about 20 minutes of trying!.. Good Luck to us! lol! I love the stroller, its so cute.. The hubby did good :)!!!

 Brent and I celebrated our 2 year aNnivErsary!!!! I cant believe we have been married for 2 years :)!!! And whats crazier is we have been together for almost 7!!! I love him SOOOO much, and dont know what I would do without him. Even thought not every day is a "fairy tale" we still are more in love than ever!!! And cant wait for our LittLe BoY to Arrive and start our little Bracken Family!!! Happy Anniversary babe, thanks for all you do!! 98 dAyS??

WOW!!! I cant believe we have *approximately 98 days till our little baby Brack is here!!!! I was reading my weekly update, and about fainted.. Has it gone by this FAST already!!! December is really just around the corner, I will be in my 6th month within this next week! Shesh, I feel so UN prepared!! At my last doc appt. Thompson told me they moved my due date back to Dec. 9th? He wasnt sure why, but they did. So I could be due anywhere from Dec 3rd to the 9th. And babies dont usually have a due date, they come when they are ready!!! So... Thats the estimated date.

I took a couple pictures This morning of the BELLY*** at 26 weeks!!!! Wow!! I dont feel BiG bIg yet.. BUT, loooking at the pictures, Im getting BIG!! haha... (P.S. I LoVe feeling this little man kick me!! I guess I can say that now.. since he is still not TO big!! But, once he starts using my ribs as a punching bag, I wont love it so much! haha!!! )

Brent and I bought a stroller.. ok, let me rephrase that.. BreNt bought a stroller and after much debate on what type, kind ect. I didnt think it would be hard picking a stroller.  But I came out of the room, and Brent already bought and paid for it!! haha! HELLO!!!! I really liked my blue one, but I guess I can live with this oRaNgE one!!! And Its cute! So... Thats our stroller!! And we got a great deal on it. I never knew I would read so MUCH about a stroller!!!

 ANy WhO* Im Not Quit Sure what I should buy??? Get??? I feel like I have nothing, and am so unprepared with so little time, BUT I think it would be smarter of me to wait until after that baby shower to go ALL baby shopping crazy, because I dont know what people will bring for us :P!!! So, Im just setting MoneY aside and waiting!! I hope FoLkS range the gifts from BaTh stuff, to BouNcIeS, to DiApers, to CloTheS!!! Cuz.. IvE got ZILCH!!! haha... So Exciting!!

StrOllErs??????

I love this stroller... Except for the monkey in the stroller, but its still cute!!! Any advice if this is a good product?? If we should keep looking?? I hear the "racer strollers" with the one wheel in the front is better now a days, but Im having a hard time finding one.

Baby B's Crib!!! Thanks to my step mom who sent us this as a gift, I LOVE it!!!! Putting it together is harder than it looks.. The instructions werent the best! But, we got it all together, and I love it because its a changeable crib so as our little B gets bigger, the bed transforms :P!!! Also, there is a little drawer on the bottom of the crib. Now.. I just need to get the bed set together!!!! Thank you HUBBY for!!!

BOriNg DaYs!

Wow, Been forever since Ive posted!! I guess because there hasnt been much to post.. so here is a little update!

*We put our crib together :)!!!!! which the instructions werent so fantastic but we did it!! ok, well Brent put it up while I watched and took pictures. (Ill post pictures soon!)

*I am 25 weeks!!! THe doctor said the baby is doing great, and my weight gain is great (which is marvelouse because I was so nervouse I was over gaining.. haha)!!! Cant believe Ill be 26 weeks this coming Sat. and 6 months in Sept. WOW!! Its going by so fast! Also, he is as long as an ear of corn!!

*Im planning a Bridal shower, and helping with my baby shower. So that is keeping me busy, and doing some fun crafty things!!!

*Brent is working out of town and I HATE it. I miss him all the time!!! I h ate being home all by my lonesome. Good thing I have 2 dogs and 7 little puppies running around to keep me intertained. haha!!!

That is about all that has been going on with me and Brent latelly. Not much!! I cant tell you one thing.. I cant wait for FALL!!! Im over the heat!!! BLAH!

Cowgirl or cowboy???

We are having a little cowBOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wahoo...


We got to the doctors and I never really knew how hard it is to hold in 32 oz of water. I couldnt even walk, I sneezed and pee'd a little.. haha! The assistant finally said that I could use the restroom and I will be fine for the appt. but dont worry I had to go just as bad about 20 min. later! I never knew how scary it could be getting a check up on your baby! I was nervous the WHOLE time the Tec was taking our babies measurements and making sure my fluids and blood was good along with the features forming and checking the spine. Uh! So nerve racking!! But once we saw our little boys face.. Brent and I both looked at each other and just smilled. It was so amazing!!!!!! HE looked right at us and smiled. We got a full view of him. We saw his cute little butt cheeks ;)! hehe.. and we werent even sure if we were going to be finding out what we are having since he kept his legs closed pretty tight. Anyway, we wiggled him around a little and bam, there was NO hiding the fact we were having a little baby boy!!! From that point on Brent was SO happy. I couldnt wipe that smile off his face if my life depended on it. We were both ecstatic!!!

We went to the rodeo last night, and Brent was telling everyone he was having a little boy :)! We were talking last night, and he told me he couldnt wait till next year because he cant wait to sport our boy around!!! haha.. I am so happy that he is happy, and I think after this ultra sound it made it that much real for the both of us! AWWWW!!!!! A baby boy!!!!! So excited..

He is also very active. I feel him more and more through out the day! I cant wait till Brent gets to feel him. Anyway, We are very happy, and cant wait for our little boy to get here!!!!!

RoAd TrIp!!!

Im back!!!!!!! The last 2 weeks I have been road tripping with my grandparents and sister Whitney. We left the 5th and got back the 18th. First of all.. it was SOOO long!!!!! I was starting to get very uncomfortable sitting cramped in a car for so long. AND I  missed BRENT so much, I felt like a baby.. I couldnt wait to run home into his arms!! lol...

So, we drove to Illinois and went to Nauvoo, which was beautiful!! We spent a couple days there and explored the houses and learned more about the history of all of it. Watched a beautiful pageant that was so awesome!! I also put my foot in the Mississippi River! I did melt on this whole trip. The funny thing is, the humidity was HORRIBLE!! So mix that in with heat, I was wet and sticky, my hair never worked out so I wore it up most of the time. But, It just meant eating lots of ice cream :)!! Which the baby and I LOVE!

On our way to the next destination which was Missouri, we were able to stop at Carthridge Jail which was SO awesome!!! Anyway, once in Missouri we went to the gateway arch which is the entrance to the west and splits Illinois and Missouri! , we visted some of my grandparents family friends, went to the zoo! Then we went on down to Branson Missouri and watched the "presleys country jubilee". That was so much fun, and funny! My grandparents bought the taping of the show so I could bring it home and let Brent watch it! haha.
We also went to Mark Twains home town!!! We went on a River boat ride, and went through Tom's home and explored the little town!

We made it to Colorado. On our way to Durango we stopped to go through Jessie James Hide out caverns, Really loved that. Once in Durango we road the train from Durango to Silverton and did some fun shopping, and eating in the little town. Then road the train back to Durango! That was a full day, but well worth it! The view/ scenery was SO pretty and it was very peacful!! It would of been better if Brent was able to enjoy it with me, but I kept him updated all the time ;)!!! The next day we went to Mesa Verde and hiked around.. H.O.T.! We were all melting and ready to relax with some ice cold water. We also stopped at the 4 corners on our way home.. but the monument was under construction so we just walked around and looked. After that we headed our way back home to Utah!! AND.. we got home around 10 that evening where Brent was waiting to pick me up at my Grandparents!!!

SO.. We drove through these states.. heading out of Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and back to Utah. And only explored a  majority of them, we just drove through Kansas! But it was a trip of a life time and I was so excited my Grandparents took my sister and I. It was a long trip and I was ready to get home!!! But.. It was well worth the trip!

Ok!!! Now .. BABY NEWS**

 My belly has for sure grown over the last month!! I am now 21 weeks :) We will finally find out what were having this Thursday! We are so excited.. Here is some pictures of the belly!!!!!

A couple weeks before I took this trip I went to California to visit family! I will post about that later! I am still waiting on pictures!! I am glad to be home, and ready for the next summer fun expedition.. which is Brent and I both's family reunions!
