My boy got his FIRST real hair cut!!! And he did a GREAT Job.. Thanks to the sucker, and Brandie Simpkins who is an amazing child hair stylist! haha..

Friend Fun!!

 This is what we have been up to latelly.. Plus, some family time, camping, moving into our house!! Woot Woot.. I could do a Whole post about boogies first hair cut!! .. maybe I still will. But he looks like a big boy.. seriously!!! I love his cute little curls! They are no more. haha..

The house is finally getting un packed, and set! I am a hanging fool! ha.. I am gonna start painting soon.. Yay!! And I cant wait.. I Say that now, Im gonna hate it after the first coat. I have a huge DI pile, all the boxes are pretty much un packed! My next project is down stairs in the storage room. I want to put all the holiday stuff in there own piles and buy tots.. right now all my crap is just in a box. I need to seriously organize it.

Brent and I are doing great, He is working his little butt off, Rydgey is getting so big.. I love watching him learn about anything and everything. I am starting on Christmas stuff, and getting the house in order. So.. were staying busy! Brent and I's anniversary is coming up in a couple weeks.. holy smokes!

It has a porch :)! Up stairs has 3 bedroom 2 bath, The master bedroom has a bathroom in it.. YAY! Beautiful Kitchen, living room.. and a  2 car garage!!! Woot Woot.. Do you know how LONG its been since Ive had a garage?? and my car will love me this winter!!
My Downstairs is a huge living room, with a wood stove :).. Favorite!! 4 bedrooms, and a bathroom! There is a stair way that leads out of the basement to the back yard.
The backyard.. is FENCED IN!!! Rydgey can spend all day outside without me flipping out every second because he wonders off!!!
I cannot wait to make this house our HOME!! And make it ours! Brent and I have so many things we want to do.. but in time!!

It just feels GOOD to finally have a place of our own. Weve been looking for a couple years now, And nothing has really come up, until now!! Finally rent that is actually going to something!!!
WE are to close by the 16th.. right now we have all paper work turned in, down payment is down, and the inspection has passed! So were in the waiting zone!!

SOOO EXCITED!!!  

Terry Reunion!

Every year I look forward to this Reunion.. 

1. Because its at my MOST favoritist place on earth to be.. The Ranch! 

2. Its peaceful, relaxing and amazing!!! 

. 

We headed up Thursday afternoon and got rained on! 

It was so nice, and beautiful.

Brent came up after work and hung out for a bit. He had to work Friday so he left Thursday evening, and came back up Friday evening. 

 They put up a swing by the field and so we decided to go check it out.. It was hillarious, Boogie LOVED it! 

 Friday was a pretty relaxing day, it sprinkled here and there, which was wonderful, we just played and watched Rydge enjoy the dirt! That boy is all boy! He would sit in the dirt and just roll in it! He played fetch with Mo.

This little dog, is Duke.. He is my Aunt Elvas dog and Rydge was so fascinated with him.. He followed Duke everywhere.. was very soft and would always crouch down to Dukes level and cock his head to one side and just start jabbering! It was the funniest thing.. ever! It was cute!

Saturday was the day of the reunion, we had games during the day which me and Whit were in charge of. We had a fish pond... we had to put the glasses on before putting them in a bag. Anyway, We had a big dinner, and visited with LOTS of family!!! Had an Auction, and a raffel.. I raffeled on this FABULOUS picture of the ranch in Scipia color, with wood around it. Cant wait to hang it up!  Its gorgeouse, 

Sunday we went for a ride to Pine Park, and then cleaned up and headed for home. 

It is always sad leaving the ranch.. especially since it was just a nice get a way. I am SO lucky that I live only 15-20 minutes away from my favorite place and I can go anytime.

A night in the City!

VEGAS!

Me, and 3 of my sister in laws all loaded up Friday afternoon and headed to Vegas for a girls night out! Can I just tell ya, that I had a BLAST!!!! 

We got all dressed up, little black dresses, heels, lip stick.. ya know the works! haha.. And went to dinner at Dicks, and also went to a show, then dancing!!!

 

We went shopping, sadly I didnt buy anything.. :/

But we had a blast, and a nice little mama outting!!! 

Cant wait for our next fun little trip! 

The 4th!!

Happy 4th of July 

Everybody!!!

We had a fun 4th. We started out by going to the program that they have every year.. We mainly went because my dad plays in the string band, and I LOVE to go watch him, and the rest of the crew! 

The prgoram was really good, I bawled :/... when you put music to pictures, and the songs are that much more touching, the end song I really let the tears flow! Once the prgram was over, Rydge ran down to my dad and started helping him play the guitar.. it was SO. CUTE. 

After the program we went to Brents parents and visited and had lunch.. which was tasty. The kids all played outside, and we sat inside and jabbered! 

They have a tramp.. which Rydge loves! We couldnt get him out of it without him throwing a tantrom!

We went to the races at 2.. Rydge did good! He kinda just looked around at the other kids as he walked.. they all ran, but it was fun! His FIRST race.. and Hunter got it on video!!! I just need to up load it to the computer! 

After running, we came home and Rydge took a 2 1/2 hour nap.. wow! And a few friends came over for a bbq, and hung out for a bit. And since the only Fire Works we could do were Poppers, we had tons and the kids loved it! 

It was a fun 4th.. and I was exhausted we all went to bed at 9. haha.. 

I Love holidays!!! Were thinking of going to Gunlock ROdeo on Friday!!! Rydge hasnt been to a Rodeo yet! So, that shall be interesting!!!

Rydge!

This little boy is 19 months old already!!

and.. SO. FULL. OF. LIFE. 

He is a busy, impatient, loving, funny, boy. 

He looks just like his daddy. 

He has started to eat me out of a house, he loves cheese and snack packs! 

He likes fruit more than vegies

He still jabbers like crazy, the only words he says are Mo, Truck, Tractor, I swear he says my name.. Hell say dog, hot, dad. thats about it :/.. everyone tells me he should be saying more words, but he isnt. He understands everything! Im hoping hell start putting words together, want more ect?? Who knows! But, Im not to worried because he "talks" all the time. And its SOOO funny to listen to him. 

He throws some major tantrums.. sometimes I dont know what to do about it? Hell throw himself on the ground and ball.. 

He is very happy, he smiles all the time!

Loves to be outside, and loves to be with daddy. 

Rydge is so smart, and it is crazy how much he picks up just seeing it done once.

He is overly helpful.

He is intrigued with everything, he is starting to get into bugs. he tried squishing a fly that was in the window, that we so funny. 

He has so much busyness in him, I swear all he does is run.. no walking what so ever. He defiantly keeps us on our toes.

He loves playing with other kids, and especially loves babies!!

Still a lover bug, which I hope lasts forever. 

Loves the water, he will be a little fish! 

He is ALL boy, he jumps on everything, climbs what he can, he rolls in the dirt, doesnt really listen to his momma he has to make sure I am serious, he tests me so bad! Everyone tells me it just gets worse :S... 

He is a lefty, but latelly he has been using his right a little bit more. 

This kid has the funniest facial expressions, Brent and I will get rolling its so funny!!! 

He loves music, as soon as he hears it he busts a move!!! I Love it, and he sings too..

He is a people person, loves anyone. 

I love this little boy so much!!! And I cant believe in 5 months he will be 2, uh-oh! 

The begining of Summer!!

SOOO much has been going on, and I have been the worst blogger ever! So, here is picture overload and Catch up from May and June! 

MEMORIAL WEEKEND!!

Our FIRST ranch trip of the summer, Oh I have missed the ranch. And camping, and family time!! We had a blast, although it was FREEZING and all I wanted to do was Curl up with hot chocolate, and a book.. But, Rydge wanted to run around and he didnt even let the cold and wind phase him.. kids, they dont care!

He LOVES Tractors.. He was in heaven, when we left he screamed! That was fun :/... haha!

 Saturday Brent, Rydge and I loaded up and went for a little stroll through the hills and came upon Beaver Dam National Park??? I had NO idea it was there, but it was Beautiful!! 

By the end of the weekend I was so sad that our weekend was over :(.. And I was SOOO happy that Brent camped with us the whole time!! Its SO much better when he goes! 

He already thinks he can drive!

Went up threw Nephi Wash and the North Hills and ran into some beautiful Mustangs.. see the colt!

 After memorial weekend Rydge and I drove to Vegas to meet up with my step mom, her husband and my little sister for a night.. ( I did blog on that)

And the next day after that we drove to Hurricane for a nieces birthday party! 

That next weekend we had the Bracken Reunion, and sadly my Camera wasnt charged :( so I didnt get any pictures.. Darn it! We had a blast camping, visiting with family, and just enjoying the relaxation. I do have a story to tell, I couldnt find Rydge, and the Lions Lodge is HUGE! ok, I looked everywhere, and when I started to panic .. I mean seriously panic I started to freak out.. running all over I thought he might have gone with my sister in law on a walk with the other kids.. um, no! He wasnt with the boys up by the forts, not ANYWHERE.. Well, Janiece found him in the bathroom playing in the toilet with a football??? REALLY!!! Talk about giving a mom a heart attack!! SHESH! 

After that Rydge and I had 2 days to get all our things together for a trip to Sacramento, CA to visit my step mom and family!! Which I blogged about as well.. And It was really fun! I miss them lots. 

Now.. We have been home for a week.. when Rydge BROKE OUT in a NASTY NASTY rash on his butt. Me thinking it was a yeast infection, I go to the Pharmacy to get some ointment when the ladies told me the rash looked like Hand foot and Mouth.. I took him to the clinic and he tested positive for strep, he got a shot but the rash kept spreading...,

UH, YES.. My little Boogie got Hand foot and Mouth!

 You cant even really see in the pictures.. but his WHOLE butt was covered in these nasty looking blistery red bumps, that spread to his feet, his hands, his mouth, up by his ears, and a few on his legs and stomach :(.. Sorta looked like chicken poxs.. UGH!!!! Can I tell you it has SUCKED. I feel so bad for Rydgey. 

He got the Strep from my friends children, and Hand Mouth and Foot from his cousin in Cali. There is no treatment for the rash.. its supposed to just go away on its own. We are to the point were its starting to clear up and look LOTS better. Hopefully by this weekend we are over it, and we can NOT be quarantined to the house :)!! Were all getting STIR CRAZY!!!

SHESH!!!! 

 I am still trying to get back into house work, yard work.. and my daily mommy duties!! But I am slacking SOOO bad. I just dont have the umph to get up and go!!! Maybe I should try a 5 hour energy and boost my umphness! hehe.. 

Well, that is all for now! I just did major catch up, and I need to do an 18 month post ALL about Rydge, although next week he will be 19 months! HOLY CRAP!!!!!

Cali!!

CALI. VACA.!

Rydge and I flew to Sacramento, California last Tuesday, we went to visit my fam. that lives there!!

Can I just say it was pretty relaxing and fun, we didnt do lots, but what we did do was awesome.

 We took Rydge to the Zoo, which was absolutely AMAZING!! We went first thing that morning, and walked through the whole park.. he LOVED the Giraffes and Apes! 

We met up with my Aunt Carol and Uncle Jim and Aunt Jenny one day and had lunch! For Alishas going away dinner. She is off on a new adventure! She is headed to Turkey for Vaca, then to Africa to do some volunteer teaching.. and enjoying some "her" time. She is so brave, and I cant believe she is off .. I am so proud of her! 

We went to the splash pad a few times, which Rydgey boy LOVED!!!!  As you can see!

We had such a great time, I love going and seeing my family, I miss them so much!!! And until next visit!! Love you all!!!! And I have to say that Rydge was such a good flyer, I was quite surprised!!!
